Hey y'all!

I’m Whitney – Your everyday college student with an embarrassing amount of knowledge in all things you wish your high school teachers would have taught you before entering the college world {Yep, I’m totally the mom friend}.

Throughout my undergraduate college career, I watched so many of my fellow young professionals make poor money decisions {I mean we can’t afford much already...}, cringeworthy career mistakes {Did you really mean to post that?}, and nearly pull their hair out trying to achieve a work-life-play balance {Figuring out your life is hard okay!}. However what shocked me the most was the number of people who are close to my heart who were doubting their abilities to succeed and take full reign of their personal and professional life.

Now you may be thinking, “Whit, you are like 23, what in the world do you know that I don’t?” Like most people, growing up isn’t exactly all rainbows and butterflies and figuring it all out can be a bit frustrating. At a young age, I had to figure it out a bit sooner than most people my age because life does not always hand us golden opportunities. With the help of amazing mentors, prayer, and side hustling I learned a lot about my capabilities and myself. Most importantly, I learned really quickly that it is our responsibility to turn what looks like a roadblock in our journey to success into learning experiences that could lead to pivotal and game-changing moments to set us up for success in our lives.

That knowledge and continuous growth led me to create ByWhit {formerly Whit and Wit} where I have a desire to connect with young and ambitious professionals where I can serve as a guiding hand, a friend, and a mentor. I have a passion for connecting with ambitious individuals who want to begin the journey of building a more fulfilling life. Click around my little corner of the internet for posts circled around productivity, career tips and tricks, budgeting, and overall health and wellness!

Welcome to ByWhit
